ThaiSimThai Simulation & Learning Association - SALA
ThaiSim is a professional association for teachers, trainers, researchers, practitioners and other professionals. Its aim is to enable the sharing of expertise in the field of simulation and gaming for learning, teaching, development and assessment. ThaiSim was established by both Thais and foreigners. ThaiSim members are practitioners and theorists, and are interested in improving their skills and knowledge so as to make learning more effective. ThaiSim members explore and develop experiential learning ideas and practice in order to improve Thai education and society. ThaiSim seeks to answer questions such as:
Objective The objective of the association is ‘to promote the effective and responsible use of simulation, games, and experiential activities in Thailand, particularly in education, training, research, assessment and development’. Membership Membership in ThaiSim is open to all who wish to participate, learn and contribute. Members come from education, industry, schools, universities, professional training, and so on. SALA NewsletterThaiSim publishes the SALA Newsletter. It will appear as and when sufficient good quality material is submitted. At a later stage, it will become more regular.
